International University Polo Championship 2010 Bangkok, Thailand
The International University Polo Championship 2010 took place in Thailand from the 29th of March to the 3rd of April. It was a truly international affair, with teams from the UK, Thailand, Malaysia, Sweden and Singapore competing in the first-ever University level cup played in Thailand. The teams comprised students from a number of universities including Regents College, Royal Holloway, London School of Economics, UCL, University of Virginia and Bangkok University.
The finals was between Thailand and Malaysia and the score ended at 7-6. It was a close game, won in front of a large crowd, with the home team just managing to defeat the visiting Malaysians. The hosts organized a fun carnival before the polo match which included food, games, shops and exciting events like the Human-Horse race and the thrilling exhibition game featuring Regents A and B.
